Gerald y Plattner and Ferdinand “Marshall” Karl photograph contemporary Austrian artists, referencing the traditions of portraiture from various artistic styles and periods, while using the latest technology. In addition to portraits of artists, they also concentrate on the artists’ works and capture the authentic environment in which they work and live.
Ilona Németh – Non-identical Space
This exhibition project presents contemporary visual language in the form of a powerful individual programme by an artist who prefers post-conceptual approaches and defining the cultural space. Ilona Németh (b. 1963, Dunajská Streda) is one of the key figures in current Slovak visual art and has also established herself, as early as the 1990s, on the international scene.
Radovan Čerevka
Radovan Čerevka (1980) represents the youngest generation of visual artists in Slovakia, who uses media to critically examine current social and political phenomena. His work has a strong ironic tinge and is critical yet passionate. The artist is a member of the Kassaboys art group from Košice.
